The landform or the landscape plays the vital role in FengShui research and findings.
Thus, much effort are been channeled into looking for good lands with auspicious dragon qi to build the house on.
A good geomancer should be able to identify and explain the existing tall buildings and roads, or even river as a form of ways for energies flow. But having said that, it can be rather hard if we are to truly look into the external environment or the infrastructures development according to maps and planning of any city and town, we might not be able to find what we are looking for, but it’s advisable to seek a professional geomancer to look into the matter.
When choosing a piece of land, we should be looking out for the following;
- Mountain if there is any (Mountain Dragon).
- Water Valley if there is any (Water Dragon).
- The flows of traffic.
- Cross junction if there is any.
- Left – The Green Dragon.
- Right – the white Tiger.
- Ming Tang if there is any.
- Any temple, mosque, or church around the area.
- Any overhead electric cables.
- Overhead bridge cutting across.
- Any railways built along the way.
- Any sharp pointing buildings.
- Any bends of the roads.
- Any river or cannel around, and its shape.
- Any future development around the selected area.
