Date selection for moving in/renovation

Question :

Do we need to select a good date from FengShui perspective or we can just based on religion, or from Thong Shu for moving in / renovation.

Answer :

The profound part in Date Selection (DS) is the application, and not on the date itself. There are different types of DS been used, some are for opening ceremony, renovation, biz growth, curing of sickness, fast and short activation type, and slow and long activation type. Only a good Fengshui master will be able to tell you the difference, and you gotta inform him of your needs and objective ahead, so for him to determine which type of DS should be selected.

But do not be mislead by Thong Shu, which are generally available in the market. Thong Shu does not take sitting of the location into consideration, and it will be somehow risky to apply without knowing the foundation in DS principle or the procedure and process to apply it, which can be misleading in other ways or rather. There are steps to check and do, before you apply ThongShu to X-cross, whats written to be good for that particular day, doesn’t mean its going to apply good on you and your house.

ThongShu are made for convenient X-Ref-Check, and shouldn’t be taken as whole as it is. These are the very common mistakes existing in the Fengshui industry now as well as domestic users when they have a chance to grab hold of it and apply it on themselves.
